Most Nba fans or even people who watch basketball know Wilt Chamberlain. The thing he is most known for is scoring 100 points, and averaging 50 points in a season but there is much more to his career and today we are going to be finding out how good was Wilt Chamberlain actually.
The first thing we are going to be analyzing about Wilt is his stats. The insane thing about Wilt is in his rookie season he averaged a staggering 38 points and 27 rebounds. This is by far the best rookie season of all time. 2 seasons later Wilt had an all time season averaging 50 points and 26 rebounds. And then later on Wilt had his historic 100 point game, but the main reason people discount these stats is due to the competition back then. While I agree the competition is nowhere near what it is today, it was still very good back then with stars like Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West and the list goes on. Out of all of these stars Wilt was the only one to put these crazy numbers which just shows how good he really was.
